Good start. Here what do the rules require? What evidence do we have that Kane took the check in good faith? Are there circumstances in which there might be something about face of the check that might cause us to question Kane’s good faith? What if the check was incomplete? What if the name of the check was not the same as the person signing? Would any of these facts be enough to destroy good faith? What is the legal definition of good faith can you tell us?

What about the ethics did Kane behave in an ethical way? What about Kroll?
