Instructions
For the Unit VIII Research Paper, you are to use the paper topic you chose in Unit I Research Paper Topic assignment.
The research paper will require that you choose one of the following settings and discuss the application of psychological testing in that setting. Specific psychological tests and their uses in the chosen setting will need to be discussed.
Settings to choose from include:
- Inpatient mental health
- Outpatient mental health
- Educational
- Business
- Forensic
For this assignment:
Identify at least three psychological tests that can be used in the setting your chose.
- Discuss application of the tests you identified in that setting, including the population for which the tests can be used.
- Identify strengths and limitations of the tests chosen for your setting.
- Discuss any legal or ethical issues involved with assessment in your chosen setting.
Your Research Paper must be a minimum of three pages (not including the title and references pages) and be formatted using APA style. You must incorporate at least five scholarly journal articles in the assignment. All sources used, including the textbook, must be cited and referenced according to APA standards.
