Write a 3-4 page (750-1000 word) essay answering the questions below. Questions:
- Define the three managerial styles (authoritarian, democratic, and laissez-faire) and compare them in terms of concern for subordinates and for maintaining control of subordinates.
- Explain which managerial style is best suited for the following law enforcement roles: Patrol Sergeant, S.W.A.T. Team Commander, and a Police Chief in charge of a meeting where senior police leadership is meeting to solve particular problems.
