In this 4-6 page paper, you will thoroughly and accurately explain a theory or framework, then use it to analyze a family topic from the assigned readings or your own life experience.
The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate familiarity with a theory or framework studied in the Families and Society course and the ability to apply that perspective to a description of a contemporary family issue you have either read about in the course or experienced in your own life. This paper will also assess your writing ability, including logical structure, complete transitions, voice, technical proficiency, and mastery of APA citation style. You must cite at least two sources: one must be from the course curriculum and one must be a peer-reviewed journal article from outside of the course materials
