Creating A Profile

Creating A Profile

For this Assignment, you will act as a profiler. First, you will review details of an investigation which includes the victim information and a profile of the offender. Then, after reading this information, you will complete a worksheet and explain where the profile information was obtained from during the investigation.

For example, the fact that the offender is female could have come from DNA profiling or witness/victim statements. When completing the worksheet, you will work backwards explaining how the profile could have been pulled together. You must have three separate areas that you identified where the information could have come from that contributed to the overall profile. On the worksheet, Name the Profile Areas where you believe the profile originated, list what part of the profile is associated with that area, and explain why you believe it came from this area.

Finally, once you will complete the attached worksheet with the appropriate information, provide a short summary of how you arrived at your conclusion for the profile. Include your reasoning behind the evidence choices and their assignment profile area.
