Assignment instructions:
Research the supply chain involved in producing and delivering this product. The group should conduct a thorough analysis of the ethical and sustainable impact of the product throughout the supply chain from resource use to consumer disposal.
Each group member must take ownership of a portion of the supply chain analysis of the product which includes:
• Overview of the fashion product, and the company that produces it including the target customer
• Resource use and sourcing practices
• Textile, yarn and fibre manufacture and treatments
• Manufacturing and production practices
• Transport, shipping and distribution
• Consumer use and disposal
Your presentation should be presented as a powerpoint and as such should be a visual presentation with supporting imagery.
Make a PowerPoint of 11 slides and associated powerpoint slide notes about this 2 points (The last page of your powerpoint should be your reference list)
• Overview of the fashion product, and the company that produces it including the target customer
• Resource use and sourcing practices
The maximum length text will be 500 words for that 2 points and the introduction in the research paper while the maximum number of slides is limited to 11 screens each person for the PowerPoint.
Each member of the group will be assessed on the portion that they have contributed, with a single grade given to all members for presentation.
